The “Safe-Space” is a place pushed to the future as something we can achieve, based on models found in the past.  But if the past has passed, and the future does not exist, where is the existence of the present Safe-Space?  Through the safeness of the group space or the personal space (one’s own “Mental Fortress”), what is the futurity of the Safe-Space, and/or even a moment of Safe-Time?

This exhibition is sponsored by SFAI's Student Union, hosted by The Laundry Gallery, and juried by a panel of Student Curators consisting of Emily McPeek, Manny Robertson and Rose Lou.
